Harry Hosterman (HAL) designed and built many racing engines based on Model T, Model A and B blocks. He designed and built several Big Bertha engines to compete in the Indianapolis 500, but by the time they were ready for competition the Miller / Offy aluminum alloy engines were dominating the field.
